  The raspberry cream puffs are out of this world! Friendly staff and great selection of breads, pastries, cakes and baked goods. Lots of tea/coffee/candle gift items as well.

  I've been going to The Hurst Bakery throughout all 21 years of my life and I have always been pleased with the goods that I purchase. The girls at the front counter are always kind and pleasant to deal with. Everything I have tried has been amazing, although my favourites are the apple strudel, cinnamon loaf, chocolate mousse cake, and of course the gingerbread men. Aurora is becoming more of an urban centre every day; it's refreshing to see that the best bakery in town is still thriving and is as much a part of the community as it was over 20 years ago.

  Every time I go there, there are friendly young woman working there.The food is amazing especially the deserts.Every thing seem very fresh.

  We ordered a cake from here for a family event, I was so disappointed with the customer service and will not be returning. Our cake looked nice from the outside but tasted very dry as though it was not fresh. I realized after speaking to my relatives that the original owners are no longer there, I wish I had known this prior to ordering. Would not recommend.

  "The Hurst" is our family's go to shop for all occasions. We have never been disappointed by any product, everything is fresh and delicious. Without exception every staff member is courteous and helpful. The only thing I would change is their sale of fruit flans. I believe anyone purchasing a fruit flan must be asked to declare that said flan is not being bought to take the place of a real birthday cake. Too many years have gone by where my wife has presented me or our son with a fruit flan on my birthday, as a "healthier option" or something. Everyone knows a birthday cake is double dark chocolate, two layers, peanut butter and vanilla icing in the middle covered with at least one can of Betty Crocker vanilla icing.
  
  Apart from that, "The Hurst" rules.
  
  Oh, and they never have samples of the brownies...mmmmm!
